About the Indian Electronic Literature Anthology

The Indian Electronic Literature Anthology is a curated scholarly collection of digital literary works originating from and engaging with the cultural, linguistic, and technological landscapes of the Indian subcontinent. Published by KSHIP IIT Indore It brings together generative, interactive, and multimedia forms such as digital poetry, hyperfiction, AI‑inflected narratives, and works integrating text, image, sound, and algorithmic behavior. The anthology is conceived as a multi-volume project documenting emerging Indian literary practices functioning as both a reference for scholars and an archive for readers and practitioners. The project is an attempt to recognize the plurality of languages, narrative traditions, and digital practices across India. Each volume is curated to highlight the diversity of digital writing in the subcontinent, advancing experimentation and critical dialogue within academic and literary communities.

About KSHIP

KSHIP is an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to transforming knowledge production and dissemination by fostering multilingual, open, and sustainable publishing infrastructures that bridge access gaps, promote collaboration, and advance digital publishing practices. Hosted at IIT Indore and part of Ubiquity Press’s partner network, we publish original research monographs in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, and Engineering while also serving as a host for peer-reviewed journals from academic societies, with a particular focus on India. In addition to scholarly publishing, we serve as a repository for Digital Humanities (DH) projects and tools while also publishing and curating electronic literature, including anthologies that highlight diverse and experimental digital narratives. Our work is guided by rigorous international peer review standards and an Advisory and Review Board composed of leading scholars. While English remains a key language, our primary focus is on fostering a multilingual scholarly publishing platform that ensures broader accessibility and inclusivity.
